four
pictures below are a recently completed bridal ensemble...the
corset is a valentine victorian style done in ivory silk doupioni
with a beaded trim applied to the top and botton edges...my
customer added the red beads to match her grandmother garnet
necklace she'll be wearing...detailed trim pictures below...the
skirt in an a-line skirt with a slight train skirting the floor...the
underlayer is an ivory rayon satin with silk chiffon over
and

I've
just finished up my first bridal garter and will be adding these
to the catalog, this was made to cooridiante colors of the maid
of honours gown and similar lace to the brides gown, the bottom
of the corset is also trimmed in the same lace as the garter.

is my youngests 10th birthday...Happy Birthday Cassaundra

is a picture of a corset just completed...it will have a large
Maleficent like collar as well, pics of that next week...this
corset was done in black and red leather...the bustline is scalloped
to a point at the edges...also features detachable halter style
strap

in
the mood for stripes it seems...below are a few new styles I'll
be adding to my corsets pages...first pics are a pink and cream
cotton striped 3 graces corset (long 19teens style) with ivory
lace trimming the top...below is a black and white striped silk
with a black lace overlay..burgundy silk trimming the top and
bottom and a wide braided trim highlighting the center front
panel...

well
we've been back nearly a week now and things here are just about
back to normal. we were able to get a good deal of work done
from new orleans, though my email service there was a bit dificult...new
orleans was wonderful as always..a little humid though..I'm
gonna miss the daily lightning storms and down pours..have a
few new styles to post in the next week...
the
corset section of this
site has been redesigned to make the pages quicker to load and
navigation easier...being on a dial up connection in new orleans
I realized how difficult that page must have been for many of
you to navigate

it's
been a crazy busy past few weeks, but we are almost ready to
get on the plane for new orleans. we've had a huge amount of
prep work to do to keep us busy working while we're down there.

well

pics of her completed outfit...she's wearing an edwardian overbust
corset done in burgundy silk doupioni & trimmed in black
silk, she's also wearing a matching silk bustle which is lined
in black silk, and burgundy silk pettipants

we
went down to SF yesterday to see one of my favorite bands
Rasputina
perform, delivered their corsets to them earlier in the
day which they wore for the show, happy, happy day! below
is a pic of Melora in her burgundy striped classic cincher,
kris is wearing a sabrina corset in black with red cherry
blossom, which unfortunately is hidden...
and
on the right is Persephone in her patent leather black widow

we've
just returned from our trip to LA for the fetish ball...we had
such a great weekend, but I'm a little tired now...spent an
entire afternoon in the garment district, what fun! I was on
sensory overload by the end of the day from looking at so many
wonderful fabrics...we spent a good deal of time with my friend
Sue Nice who is also a corsetiere, it was wonderful catching
up...attended a cocktail party at Persephone's thurs night which
was a blast, below is Domiana's new corset which I gave to her
at the party and she wore to the ball, gave Persephone her new
black widow corset made in patent leather, hopefully I'll have
some pics of that one soon

silver
silk pleated skirt with a matching silk wrap..shown with a white
dragon victoria corset with silver trim, this corset has a 20"
closed waist, 33" bust and is available for sale, this
was an extra we recently produced and is brand new, unworn
on
the right is a vamp corset done in black rose embossed velvet
at the center front, burgundy velvet sides and trimmed in black
velvet...highlighting the center front pannels are aurora borealis
rhinestone trim...top and bottom are trimmed in black lace #1

is a valentine victorian corset just finished with a matching
silk velvet skirt... the corset is done in alternating pannels
of black with purple flowers brocade and blacksilk velvet and
top and bottom are trimmed in silk velvet... skirt is semi full
and comes to just below the knee
I'm
trying to get the fabric pages updated with fabrics I've purchase
over the past few months, I've added new trims
and silk brocades so far

a
couple victorian underbusts I've just finished up..the one
of the left is done in a red and ivory jacquard that is reversable,
the center front has the ivory background and the sides the
red background and is trimmed in red silk...the corset on
the right is the burgundy(looks more red in the pics) floral
brocade alternated with black satin and trimmed in black satin
it's
been a crazy busy month but I'm going to try to start updating
this page again at least weekly

below
is a recent costume created for a client who is cosplaying
as lulu from final fantasy. below these is a picture of the
animated character. the corset and skirt are made from a matte
black heavy vinyl material. bone casings and trim are grey
vinyl. the sleeves are attached in just at the underarm to
allow for movement. the skirt is rather short in the front
with belts crisscrossing below and comes long in the back
with a 2 ft train.

doing
lots of sleeves lately, have another in the works too (pics
next week). these below are sewn into the corset...this corset
was done in a creamy silk doupioni with the under sleeve done
in a silk organza. sleeves are set into a 1" band with
elastic inside to cling the sleeves to the arm but still allow
the wearer to lift her arms
setting
the sleeves into the corset was very complicated, and we did
2 mock ups for this corset, the first being a basic fit for
the corset and the 2nd with the sleeves. the original idea was
to do a reproduction of a Christian LaCroix corset (picture
below) but when the client tried it on with the pleated sleeves
she found that they were very bulky and she wouldn't be able
to put her arms next to her body all day, and considering this
is for her wedding day and she's already cinching down to 18"
a little comfort was necessary, so we came up with an alternate
sleeve

below
is a recently finished bridal ensemble done in purple satin.
the corset is a victoria style that sits low over the hips.
The skirt is straight to just be low the knees then flares out
at sides into a 2' train. the chiffon sleeves are separate peices
which have a casisng of elastic at the upper arm. the upper
edge of the sleeves is open and just tacked together again at
the wrist
