It is important to mention here that
your should put on your stockings, shoes, or socks BEFORE putting
on your corset (unless of course you have someone who can do this
for you), as this will be very difficult to do once your corset
is on.
Your corset will arrive to you properly
laced up the back.
To begin, open the busk and loosen the lacings of the corset as
much as is need to easily wrap the corset around your body.
Next wrap the corset around your body
and fasten the busk. Start towards the hooks in the middle
of the busk and work towards the top and bottom from there.
Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it in no time!
Once the busk is fastened begin pulling
the lacings in a bit. Make sure the waistline of the corset
is sitting at your waist, you may need to pull the corset down
and stretch your torso to get the corset properly in place.
You will want to slide the back protector behind the laces at
this time as well.
Now you are ready to finish lacing
the corset. Begin pulling the lacings in with the "loop"
that is located at the waistline. The lower part of the
loop will pull in the lacings from above the waist, and the upper
part of the loop will pull in the lacing from below the waist.
Pull the excess lacing in from the top to the waist and from the
bottom to the waist till the corset feels snug, but not too tight.
It is important for the first few wearings not to cinch the corset
completely closed, your corset and your body need time to break
in. With each wearing you will be able to close the corset
a little more. Remember to take it slow, don't rush it,
you could potentially damage the corset or your body.
Once the laces are pulled in sufficiently
and evenly tie the laces off at the waist.
Taking off your corset
ALWAYS loosen the lacings BEFORE undoing
the front busk. Not doing so could snap the busk.
Undo the hooks of the busk similar to hooking the busk, start
towards the middle and work out from there.
